Thought I'd start a thread for what we'd like to see at the Spitfire. At this point I'm going to say go nuts on requests and let staff decide whether or not to approve them!
Services:
- Ithzir Armor Upgrades
- Enhancive combining or moving to another item of the same type
- Glamour Tattoo!!!!!!!!!
Raffled Items:
- Permanent Portal Passes *For Platinum
- Spell items (preferably defensive buff spells since CCF had more offensive buff spells)
- Glamour crystals (shadowy figure maybe?)
Shop Items:
- Spell items including scrolls, magic items and potions/edibles with a wide variety of spells
- Artisan supplies (especially forging and fletching)
- Siegery stuff

These should probably last a couple of hours or so, at least. For extra coolness, make them alterable =)

I'm curious if this would be possible... One of the troubled waters prizes is a krolvin mask that makes you look like a krolvin for some amount of time. I would love to see a shop with those masks for the various PC races or maybe even other humanoid races.
I would absolutely adore a re-usable version that could be customized by the winner.

As well as perhaps the triumphant return of a Vanishing Point Shop (the original was part of the last Spitfire)

My first main character, a tart-crumb waving halfling cleric, loved this event. This was probably back in 1999 or so.
I remember a lot of cool "limited" items released; 5 of each if I recall.

"a skull-shaped pouch"
Some kind of thing like "a dangling silver tart pendant" that was non-functional.
For my old Tart-Fiend (that was...actually his family name), limited items like this were pretty awesome.
I can't remember if I mentioned charm bracelets yet. Bring these back! Regular off-the-shelf stuff, whatever. If they weighed a lot with many charms, see if that can be addressed.
The Spitfire used to open the closets for like limited-20 crazy charms off the shelf. Time is well announced, and there were several rooms, and lots of different limit-20 charms that went on sale. Bring this back, too!

Oh and was what that merchant, who did off-the-shelf order-your-premade-alteration to cloaks?
I don't think the ghastly great sorcerer's cloak version will see its way back into the game these days, but some of the other ones were pretty great.

I would like:
-Juggling orbs!
I accidentally sold the ones I bought in Talador to the pawnshop because I hadn't marked them, but they're awesome and I'd like new ones. Other fun toys would also be fun.
-Some of those ranger scribing things would be good too (I forget what they're called, the ones that let you mark your imbued items).
-Fletchings that add flares to arrows!
-Custom tattoos would be nice.

I would love to see more raffles with attuning wins, so only people who really want it enter. Lizards, phoenix, sketch pads. I'd love to see some Pre-QC'd signature verbs. Especially since the number of services is limited for this. Also, since the spitfire is about more fun and scripted things and not high end gear or mechanical benefits, I'd love to see a lot of interactive games.
Or maybe a game where people can get spun to play and are divided into groups and each group has to collectively design a new signature verb or a new tattoo or something. I imagine the signature verb would be difficult what with the QCing, hence the addition of the others. At the Tree Festival there was a group tattoo where we each contributed one word and that was fun. Weird, but fun.
I also really like the feature merchants who roll dice and have a list with 1-6 for different feature spots. And you get to design a feature for that spot and the merchant and/or crowd get to design the other feature. Walk away with lovely exactly-what-you-want skin and a big fat potato nose, or something.
Something else, that I don't expect to see, but might be neat for the future would be more items with interesting/historical loresongs. You could put a shop on spitfire with a treasure chest and some automated NPC where you pay a certain amount of coins and get 1 chance to "search chest" in the treasure chest where you pull out some old Hunt for History item or other historically interesting item, like a broken golvern spur or a halfling-sized lance shaft or a glowing amulet, etc etc.
"Reaching into the treasure chest you greedily reach around. You feel something under your hand and grab it, pulling it free of the chest! Eagerly looking the item over you realize you have pulled *a petrified green diaper embroidered with the words 'Property of Plur'*. Yay!"

I'd like to see custom messaging for FWI transporters. And maybe some more seer stuff...cards, sand pouches, crystal balls, slatted boxes, that sort of stuff.

I'd like to make a request for the feature pavilion with the several "unique to the event" options. I've enjoyed this part of the last 2 EGs and the premium food festival. Unsure which GM has had this pet project but I thank you for it as I found several uses at each event. It partially weighted my choice for which character(s) to bring to each based on the features available. I have a followup request involving a mask sold at the last EG but I'll go post it over there.
