We added some new features to Delirium Manor this time around that I hope you guys enjoy.

Feeder items have a good mix of new things this time around. I'll give some teasers in another thread. But we also broke the feeders up a little more, so we can offer some more middle ground items (between normal drops and jackpot wins).

You can now randomly seek out a ward in the manor. Upon your final search you can obtain a ward that will thwart away Toymaker Whax's hand as he tries to pull you out of Delirium. You won't get any indication if you have the ward until your final search. If you successfully remain in the manor, you will gain another 5 searches. This is intended to be a rare feat. The new searches have a short duration in how soon you'll get pushed out of the manor, so do not loiter too long! You can continue to obtain wards, so if you're lucky enough, you could stay inside the manor for 20 to 25 (or more) searches on one pass. This would be extremely rare, but certainly possible.

The odds to find jackpot items have been improved. We will also run a few happy hours that triple the odds in Prime and double them in Platinum. The reason it is only doubled in Platinum is Platinum already has increased odds. Please do not mistaken this update as you will now find more jackpot items. The odds are improved, not your individual luck.

Tickets will always be awarded in 3s, instead of 2 or 3. This is because the accessories that you can now find in the manor can be sold for 2 tickets.

The random multiplier room still exists, no changes to that. The multiplier is a flat 10x though, which due to the above update means it will always be 30 tickets.

As said in another thread, your tickets from previous years of Ebon Gate and last Delirium will work at the gift shop. Ebon Gate tickets will now be known as general tickets, and will see usage at other venues. For now, Delirium Manor is the only event slated to use them. We plan to add it to other events, both free and paid. Ebon Gate this year (2017) will be using something else entirely.

We added a few new items to the gift shop. Some highlights are two disk changers that can be purchased from on the bench, the trinket and sphere. Both have 50 charges each. There are also some really nifty ones inside the manor that can be found that have 100 charges.

This wasn't updated, but it's a reminder that there is a HELP menu inside Delirium. Last October, only one or two people read through it entirely. If this information is useful to you, we can do this at other venues.

Delirium Manor is an event focused on non-mechanical items. This event might not be magical for everyone. Do not feel pressured to attend this event if it does not seem interesting to you. We have a pretty robust event schedule these days, so chances are, we'll run something you will like another time.

The most important factor is that you're having fun.

Sounds like fun and terrible at the same time. :)

Hey when you say randomly seek out a ward what do you mean by that good sir?
Would it be like the same as finding the 10x room?

Yes, it's just a random chance in a randomly selected room.

>>I didn't really save any, but for people who saved eg tickets they are kind of in a bind if they don't care for the manor stuff? or will most of the stuff that was in the eg prize booths at dm, i honestly can't remember

If someone doesn't have tickets and doesn't want to go to the manor, then they'd have to buy tickets from someone else. Only the stuff at DM is at DM. EG is separated entirely.

>>Re: General Tickets

The currency formerly known as Ebon Gate tickets will now be known as General tickets. General tickets will be a multi-functional currency moving forward across different venues.

I am not entirely sure on DM things, but it does sound like a lot has been adjusted in a good way, which makes me feel good about things. Will the combined tickets thing affect any of the other existing scrip in the future?

The general ticket question I was meaning is that if someone has a bunch of EG tickets saved up they are now general tickets you said. So something at some point that will be similar to eg stuff (spell books things like that) will be available at another festival maybe?
hopefully that makes more sense?

Haliste said in the other thread that the DM store this year has some pre-made spell preps and I think a premade resurrection spell effect. The stores for events like this have gotten really good about having a reasonable range of at least the following:
An event themed gem cutter pattern
an event themed gem cutter
an event themed spell prep (or multiple)
an event themed perfume

From there is goes into event related or themed fluff items or low/mid end mechanical items (4x w/ flares, or 5x scripty) but very limited usually. I applaud the recycling of the, soon to be previously, EG tickets but have a small concern with EGs moving forward. I understand that EG is it's own beast in many ways, but would hate to see too many special currencies cropping up. The only thing that might reduce that concern, would be if an event such as EG used its own tickets for 3 years (that's how long the same location is generally used at EG right?) but it had a one-way option of converting specialty EG tickets into the general tickets. We still have a few months to find out how that is going to work at least. Or maybe not that many months... where'd my muffins and time go?

Not in the gift shop -- only some new spell preps in the gift shop. If I said that specifically in another thread, I'm sorry! The custom sanctuaries and raise are items in the jackpot hopper.

>duration of same location at EG?

5 years. Hard to believe it's been that long in Feywrot already!

Thanks for the correction! I knew the fully customized ones were jackpot items, but I must have gotten the idea somehow there was premade ones available to buy as well. It's always great to see the fully customizable options as prizes. More verbs, more swears, more spell prepping! Customize, customize, customize!

Are these pre-QC custom sanctuaries and raise or fully customizable delayed service wins? Thanks!

I was just discussing this...

These are PRE MADE Resurrection and Sanctuary spell certificates. We (GMs) often use the term "custom" because on our end, this is part of our syntax, even when designing the pre-made ones. So we tend to use that term when it's not really what it is. For us, it's custom. For you, it's pre-made. So let me be clear:

The certificates for Raise and Sanctuary that you'll find in the jackpot hopper are pre-made, but unlike anything else! Hopefully that clears things up. Sorry about all the confusion on this.

Yes, your tickets will still retain their value. We will sell things that will entice someone, I'm sure!

I'm going to ask a question which I saw already get asked, but there was not a clear answer.

Does this mean these new General Tickets will not be used at Ebon Gate?

I saved tix from Ebon Gate last year ... hoping to use them this year!

You dodged the question. It's understood that there will be no specific ticket tied to any specific event. It appears you guys are trying to streamline things to keep it simpler so you're not carrying around Ebon Gate tickets and New Event Tickets and That Other Event Tickets. It gets cumbersome on both sides, players have to manage more things as well as you. So event tickets are being consolidated into one "General Ticket" name. The question was:

Does this mean these new General Tickets will not be used at Ebon Gate? (you mentioned something different was in plan for EG so I think clarification was being requested: if what was EG tickets, that are now going to be General Tickets, will they still be used at EG 2017 or not?)

General tickets are no longer related to any event specifically. Could they be at EG? Sure. Could they be at Duskruin? Sure. But they are no longer tied down to any event. If you're wondering there they are going to be used, I answered that originally.

So I'm not dodging anything, I answered it. Then it gets asked again, so I'm not sure what else anyone wants me to say, hence my responses.

I really hope Duskruin scrip doesn't continue to be diluted by adding general tickets from other events given the problems with draining scrip and inflation per run that already occurs.

I may be off-base, but the way I'm reading it, EG tickets will be used at EG and elsewhere (like DM, now). DM tickets will be used at DM, and EG tickets (general tickets) can also be used. Other venues will be added.

Which I take to mean EG tickets will have multiple plays, and apparently other venues will accept those general tickets or the venue-specific tickets.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that one venue's tickets will be accepted at other venues (yet), nor that EG will accept tickets from any other venues. At least, that's my read.

So, my Ebon Gate Tickets have become general ones, and Ebon Gate will have a new scrippy something?

I understand these tickets have been renamed, and I can use them at the Dollhouse.

But I was saving them for EG prizes. So my question was about that.

Sounds like EG might not even use anything like tickets at all, which means that turning 2015 and 2016 eg tickets into general tickets was done instead of just discarding them.
