Not on the Dev team here, so take my Loot Czar opinion with a grain of salt:

On a permanent basis? Never gonna happen.

Flares or a few uses per day for a short duration would be far more likely to happen, speaking in the hypothetical.

They've only been out for a very short amount of time, so I'd (personally) like to see them remain as a log in reward for a while longer.
