Well, wish this spell didn't have to be an area-affecting spell.

Other observations.

- cap is ~100
- is a non aggressive spell

Time to head to Haven to see how swampies and shamans react to it.

So, went up to Riverhaven to test out how the two magic using beasties went against mana disruption.

For swamp trolls, when casting a spell only to be disrupted, they attempted to harness mana. This confused me because, well, if they didn't have the basic mana for the prep, why try harnessing more for it? Heh. Anyway, they would cast, nothing would happen. They wouldn't try casting again until a good while from then.

Same goes for goblin shamans, except they don't try harnessing at all. They just give up. Some don't even attack, they just stand there at missle, looking confused and goblin-like.

It would be nice to have critters under the influence of low mana at least seem frustrated over it. Or give some sign that they're backfiring/not enough mana/etc etc. Just for fun, ya know? :)

Quote for the day, sent by GM watching me blow up my arms.

"The thought occurs to you that perhaps things would go better if you... say.... didn't blow up your arms."
