1> Why is it that when I cast RoS on a hog (which I am at melee with) it pushes me to pole range with said hog, but I remain at missle with everything else?
2> Why is it that casting at 12 mana doesn't harm creatures, but does harm me?
3> Why does shield deflect DFB spells, but not DFA spells?

Could you elaborate on that pole/missle range thing? Was everything but that 1 hog at missle to begin with? Does it say it pushes YOU to pole specifically or does it just end up that you're both at pole range distance after the cast.
>>2> Why is it that casting at 12 mana doesn't harm creatures, but does harm me?<<
Cast it too quickly in a row?
>>3> Why does shield deflect DFB spells, but not DFA spells?<<
I guess because when it comes from above they just don't see it coming and dont really have a chance to, but from below is like an upwards sword swing (?) Not taking sides on any of these, just wondering same as you.

ROS is not a DFB spell, DFB would imply that it strikes directly from the ground below them impailing them directly upwards
ROS strikes at an angle so while it does spring up from the ground it strikes you in a up and forward motion which is why shield blocks it because it bashes into the shield at an angle not bypassing it from striking below the person
