Fire shard is incredibly difficult to get damage with now. Even casting at things below my level, half the shards are absorbed by armor. Fire shard has about twice the number of defense factors as Chill Spirit and in general people have much, much higher stamina than charisma, so it does less relative damage. It also doesn't teach NEARLY as well. Face it, you have a grudge, no matter the actual facts.
