In case you didn't know... Cast, and a thing comes up out of the ground, if the thing is loaded, it'll automatically spin to face and fire at any enemy.
If you cast it directly at an enemy, it'll form already aiming at them, and will fire almost instantly.
My question, since it's not exactly something I can just test, but would want to know before I land in the situation, maybe one of the more violent elementalists can answer... Can you cast/use this on PCs? I've never casted directly at somebody, but want to know if it's available in that circumstance.

I couldn't tell ya as I don't have the spell. Always seemed like there were better ways to lock myself in RT than realoading the bloody thing. Saw it used once to kill my buddy, however one shot was sufficient to remove his chest, so i'm not sure about other shots.
