Alright, just to get things going on track here, what about barbarians being able to break weapons? They can make 'em, why not break 'em? For example:

>Moving smoothly, the marauder jabs his longsword at you. Moving with the grace of a cat, you dodge.

>Break mar

>Letting out a great roar, you slam your club down as hard as you can on the marauders longsword, sending pieces of metal scattering in all directions.

Just a thought.
