>That being said, a non-magical ability that requires both a cleric and a paladin (or even a group of paladins and clerics) to perform different parts of and, if done properly, the effects would be spectacular would be a fantastic idea. However, this isn't the folder to discuss this in. ::grins::

I agree, but I'm going to be pessamistic. Chances that you'll ever get a group of Paladins and Clerics together is incredibly low. What would this ability do? Ressurect everyone in the room? The province? All of Elanthia? I know I don't want that and that most Clerics wouldn't want that. What else would be spectacular enough that it would require a large number of people? Most likely it couldn't be a huge bonus to anything, due to the global caps. My guess is that some spells and abilities (Benediction) are fairly close to the maximum amount allowed under the global caps. Since I can cast Benedicion on my own, what would be spectacular enough that I'd want to find a group of Paladins and a group of other Clerics to perform something? Maybe invincibility, but we've got Anaelismir for that (and MF of course).

I think its a good idea to have more joint abilities, but I think current abilities will inevitably outshine those joint abilities because of two reasons. In other words, getting a group together is hard, so the reward should be very large. But rewards for current spells are already fairly large and most likely fall close to the global caps, so this joint ability would most likely not be enough to entice people to get together and do joint things.

Though, the ability to perminantly raise the power in a room could be cool. Or at least raise it for a very long time. I'm thinking the power of GoM at a duration of hours if not days.

I'm tired, cranky, sick, and going to bed. Pretend the above paragraph actually makes sense.

an ability like that would never come out <g> one to permanantly raise the power in a room that is, it'd be too powerful and too abusive, maybe a way to extend the gylph of mana so that it last an absurd amount of time but that would take many players doing so and at the cost of completely tanking the paladin for awhile

want that.

Clerics new commune, Chadatru's Justice: Make cleric Surrounded by a wall of fire that no one can do anything to...Akin to Invisiblity.

Palies Glyph: Light of Judgement: Puts a glow around a theif making it harder for them to hide and sneak. Palies will find the glow especially bright.

With your powers combined I am captain planet!...er...now ait.

With our powers combined, we make...

Hounds of Rutilor: A palie glyphs cleric...cleric communes, a hound appears. this hound can seak out anyone weither invisible or hiding or just sitting down minding thier own buisness, and will hold them down, at which point both cleric and palie get visions every so often. For every palie that glyphs the cleric before he communes another hound will appear. More palies = more hounds = much-a-mauling. (Since it will have to have skill checks and blah blah blah for "balance", but each new hound adds a bonus to sed skill check.) On the same thing as balance, if for some reason the 'hounds' should ever turn on their summoners, they will only maul the palies, clerics are immune because we don't have pureblade in our guild.

Except it doesn't protect you from being stolen from...well maybe, I don't even know if anlaesmir exists, it was just part of a "planned" idea.

besides, my version is way better.
