Some georin pulp jumps into the air and hurtles toward you!
Your cuirbouilli coat is slightly damaged.
The georin pulp lands an awesome strike to your abdomen!
The georin pulp is destroyed by the impact.
You are knocked completely senseless!
WHOOPEE! this is a must get spell. on par w/ the joys of sorcery or hunting without armor
>>Am I missing something, or is TKS basically old CL except you need shear up instead of ES?
Although I'm not familiar with how CL works.. TKS is only similar in that it has the possibility (under certain circumstances) to hit the caster.
TKS is a very powerful spell, much like Rippple in that the magics are such that we have difficulty controlling them totally, however, a smart mage will know how to execute the spell while still managing not to get hit by it.
You have to learn how to use the spell for it to be effective. So before you come here and whine about how much it sucks, because you're hitting yourself, take a few minutes IG and experiment with its uses and find out how to actually use the spell.. I have a feeling more people will like this spell once they figure out how to use it correctly.

Hmmm the thing I noticed with TKS with limited testing in Adan'f... is that it wasn't DOING anything to them even at upwards of 50 mana (Using slivers, 203 TM, but I think I had at least a 50 rank prediction on TM, and I can rip em up with CRS/burn) just bouncing off. For what it's worth I took no procautions to keep myself safe but after three or four casts never hit myself <shrugs>

It is a little on the weak side. But that's to be expected all things considered. So aside from that, the only thing I can say is I wish it looked more like a storm ::grins::. Right now it kind of just looks like you have a group of Goldcaps casting TKT's for you.
-Zelion (Good change in design though. There is nothing worse than the old version.)

Is it possible to hit yourself using slivers? I've only hit myself once, and that was the first time I cast it, and haven't since, using all sorts of different items (strings, ropes, coins, skins, etc) Has anyone hit themselves with TKS with a sliver?
I think this should be something that is impossible, if it isn't already, as it would give the spell and the combo another very useful aspect.
Thanks
