In 2014 we were told that, "The Teoleologic Sorcery backlash chance is] essentially half of the holy or elemental penalty, depending on which mana type you're using." https://elanthipedia.play.net/Post:Re:_Teleology_backlash_chance%3F_-_11/12/2014_-_5:08
Do Antinomic and Hylomorphic spells follow the same rules regarding rates of backlash chance or do all High Sorceries follow different rules for chance of backlash?
Do Antinomic and Hylomorphic sorceries share the same backlash rate as Teleo? on 08/22/2017 11:12 AM CDT

Former.
To clarify slightly, the bracketed quote was only referring to the mana-based penalties, so the final chance isn't exactly half. But yes, all high sorcery is less explosive than cross-realm casting when comparing spells of similar difficulty and mix.

Does the "combat spells also have a lower backlash rate" (that's a thing, right?) also apply? At least I recall there being discussions about combat-based sorcery (or at least TM?) being a bit less punishing because of the nature of casting low-duration combat spells and/or TM a lot more than you would other types of magic.
Uzmam! The Chairman will NOT be pleased to know you're trying to build outside of approved zones. I'd hate for you to be charged the taxes needed to have this place re-zoned. Head for the manor if you're feeling creative.
