Im an empath and I have tried to case spells since this magic mix up while mounted and every spell i prep it backfires while mounted on my horse.. no one in game seems to know why this is happening so i have been told to ask it here.. is this going to be a long standing bug?
It has been stated that people don't think casting off horses has been released with the new magic rewrite. However, I don't know, I don't waggle my fingers ::grunts::

I think it has more to do with magic SKILL than any bug, or your horse not being trained. If your horse isn't trained, it will throw you. Previous conversations with paladins and other magic users indicate that it is about five times harder to cast a spell from horseback than while not mounted. The fact that your spells are backfiring rather than causing other messaging seems to support this. :)
