I don't know if this is a bug, and I have posted it in a couple other folders not being sure who to bring this to attention. I am a Trader who uses his horse while riding from outpost to outpost. I notice I cannot get my horse through the RT Zone past the Wall at Therenborough to continue on to the Fornsted/Hvaral/Muspar'i areas (where 3 more Trader Outposts are). My caravan follows me just fine through the long road RT, why not my horse? Can we get this fixed? Or any plans to change this soon?
Also, can we have it so we can ride through the Web Spot between the Crossing Ferry and Leth Route? It is so annoying having to dismount, lead horse through, get webbed, then remount after passing. Already, I can avoid this web spot while following my caravan, I don't understand why you couldn't avoid this spot as well while on a horse.
Thanks,
Trader Gidske

I was also disappointed to find out that I could not lead my horse through Ker'leor. I am going to Muspar'i and it would have been great to be able to take my horse there. Accessiblity and and a stable would be a good addition in Muspar'i. They care for Trader's Guild pack animals already, so it is not like the supplies and reasoning are not there already.
I guess there might be issues to deal with getting the horse through Ker'leor, the Fornsted Keep and then the sand barge.

Horse go through the muck on the NTR, the webbing on the STR, on ferries, and barges. It is plain silly that a longer trail wouldn't be accesible to horses. In this case its just and e or w.
As far as the climbing spots, Ok, I can see sheer cliffs, and trees, but rooms with slopes again should be accesible, even some of the trails. (i.e climb trail, go trail, climb slope, etc.) Strangely enough, horses can climb barricades, like into rockies, but can't make it up slopes.
We were asked a goodly bit ago to name these areas where horses should go, but currently can't. If the big hitters were fixed back then, I'd say the list was upside-down <g>.

What do pack animals eat?
I would see needing to prepare feed ahead of time for such a journey making alot of sense as well. Horse saddlebags would sure come in handy.

the trader shops sell feedbags, and i make sure mine is well stocked on the forstead-hvaral road before trading in muspar'I.
Another difference is whenever I have a caravan in Muspar'I--its Run into the city.... run out and catch the barge. Not staying there any length of time like you would if you were taking a horse there and hunting with it.

>>But Muspar'I itself is desert. There's nothing to feed the horse there<<
That is just plain silly. People use horses in the desert also, even to fight on. Do I need to list some historical references to mounted calvary in the desert? It isn't like Muspar'i is deserted either. Folks do reside there so there must be food and water somewhere. Even Murs require the basic necessitys of life.
And besides, this is mainly an issue of the GMs keeping an entire area off limits to horses that is larger than the whole area on the other side where horses ARE allowed (Therenborough/Langenfirth area vs. the Muspar'i/Hvaral/Fornsted area).
I say just get rid of the whole RT connection...I don't understand it's purpose anyways...sort of like that useless web spot too...both are dated pains in todays DR. Just add a real room to room route there.
