Just tried to learn some scholarship from reading books and I must say KUDOS. I locked up scholarship. Took about 7-10 minutes but it was time well spent. Thanks for giving this Tog a reason to learn to read.

13-14 minutes actually. Sorry about that. Still time well spent.

Kudos again

Rank depending of course.. but yes reading is very nice at least early on (not sure, I'm only at 25 ranks myself). Plus it gives motivation to actually read the books, I really liked the one about Lanival.

On a related note, any idea on how long it takes before you can learn again from the same books? I know its pretty long but right now I only read em once a day, be nice to know if I could do it more often

The timer isn't that long. Maybe half an hour tops.

Half hour usually works. Considering it takes me 1about 12 minutes to cycle through the books. It's a fairly short wait.

I have been trying to figure out how to do this. Sometimes I seem to learn well, and other times not particularly. I have tried pacing my reading of the pages, and sometimes I do fine, and other times my learning just stops. I would appreciate recommendations on methods.

15-20 seconds per page. Cycle through all the books. Goto another library if one is nearby or do something else for 15 minutes or so then go back and cycle through them again. Don't use a bot to cycle through, cause the order the books are in reverses every once in awhile. A script would probably work, but I haven't found the need for one. And remember that you absorb experience while you are in the book manager. With something like The Immortals (one of the longer books that I can remember offhand) you could have mind locked, hit the perbook learning cap, and pulsed down a couple of times, so when you leave the book manager you're only at perplexing so you think you're not learning. For strictly learning, I would stop after 20 pages. I can't put a book down that I'm in the middle of though.
