If you're an estate holder you might be able to learn from the brook at Bearholt's Tavern. Otherwise- I'm not a ranger, mind you- crocs to Haven.

Crocs to haven requires at least 140, from what I hear. But it can't hurt to try, just make sure you're buck naked when you do it.

You can do it with 92 in swimming, a little effort, no burden (remember there are varying levels of no burden) and wearing leathers. Courage will help a lot if you want a hand.

Really? Odd. I've seen Rangers with well over 100 ranks nearly drown in there.

My understanding is that STR and STA play a big part in it, a tog will likely swim it with less ranks then a gnome.

What I did was carry a burden to keep learning swimming at Arthe Dale. So far it is still teaching me at 91 ranks. It may or may not require more and more burden or cut off altogether soon.

With absolutely no burden whatsoever I can lock swimming at 55 ranks in the brook out the west gate in less than five minutes. I expect to get at least another 20 ranks from it by adding burden, but so far I've seen no need whatsoever to add burden.

An elven ranger I know did it at 120 with 25 str/stam. That's success, I don't know if he even tried before that, but there you go.
