After my debacle the other day, I looked around, and asked around, and apparently only colored paper envelopes are sold on Ratha, not plain ones?
Unless myself and everyone else is blind, what possible reason is there for only selling these highly prices envelopes in Ratha?
I'm hoping it is just an oversight (or I am completely blind).

After talking with a GameHost...
Apparently it is intended that Ratha only sell expensive colored envelopes, because it is a "fancy" shop?
The Ratha shop has sold, and still sells, plain colored paper sheets. It's too fancy to sell bundles of plain paper, but not plain paper itself?
According to the Gamehost, M'riss, Aesry, and Leth all sell plain origami envelopes, leaving only Ratha not selling them.
This is completely absurd.

>Wow. That's really surprising.
I know! I really didn't even consider it could be anything but an oversight or my inability to find them. What possible good comes from descriminating against the people who live on Ratha and need origami paper?
Regardless, there is absolutely no logic behind the claimed reason. It is too fancy to sell an envelope with 100 sheets of plain origami paper inside, but not too fancy to sell plain origami paper itself?

I kinda like the fact that the envelopes on Ratha are more expensive. My trader can take a trip to Mriss, buy 100 sheet plain envelopes at 1 plat each, return to Ratha sell then for 1.5 plat, and still provide them for half the cost of the envelopes in the shop. Its a good business opportunity for young Rathan Traders.

<<With all due respect, Ssra, if that's the case, I think you should be a stand-up guy, admit that you said some things you shouldn't have, and apologize.>>
I was never angry, offended, or frustrated. However, I was displeased with the lack of care and thought for the Host. They deserve the benefit of the doubt -- which was clearly not the case here.
In situations like this I think of a line from Jerry Maguire, "It's a pride swallowing siege." I often joke any pride or self-esteem I had was beaten into submission long ago. Did I say everything I wanted to? Of course not. Did I say too little too much? With regret -- no question -- that's why I deleted my own posts.
I do care otherwise I wouldn't take time out to be here.
