This is kinda wordy because I want to make sure you understand it, but at the same time, I am constrained by what I can actually say.

As you know (at least you experienced Rangers know) you have a bonus. This bonus is factored in to most (but not all) of your actions as Rangers. It is factored in, in almost all "Ranger Specific" stuff.

The way the bonus works is no secret. When you're in cities, it goes down every X seconds, when you're in the wilds it goes up ever X seconds. When it is being determined whether it goes up or down, it is done by giving you X, and then checking your terrain to see how much of X you actually get. If you are in the absolute wilds you get ALL of X, if you are in say Shard, you not only don't get ANY of X, but you actually take a hit.

Now, if this check is not made to see what your terrain is, then you always get all of X.
And that's what happend. The call to check your terrain got removed and you were always getting all of X, and never getting hit for being in a city.

I don't know when this call was removed, but I do know it was working in March (the last time I personally worked on that program). So it could very well have been the last 6 to 8 weeks.

Obviously I fixed it, but I wanted you to know there had been a change because you will notice it I'm sure. No values have changed...just the the check has been reinstated. This means you won't be getting your bonus back as fast (unless you are in the deep wilds), and you will again see a deterioration of your skills if you hang out in town for any length of time. Just like before the call was removed.
