Define high MO? Is it high enough so that 4 eels are no threat to you? Is your balance high and encumbrence low? If none of those are the case, then I don't have an answer for you.

I didn't ask about his hindrance, but he was in stalking leathers. I think he may've been around fairly, though, based on the skills he showed.

J'Lo, I'm a ranger.. I'd believe anything.....

Are you still learning MO there? If you are still learning MO from 4, you may still not have high enough MO but I am grasping at straws.

Retreating, Barbarian style:
Step 1: Kill everything
Step 2 (Optional): Loot corpses
Step 3: Wander out

If you outclass them by enough that you feel you should be able to retreat, then go ahead and try the above. I believe that corpses clog up the spawn, so if you don't search and kill everything before they start to decay you shouldn't get many additional targets wandering in. This is how I manage swarmy areas with berserks when my mindstate gets too bad.

Of course, if you're an Empath I would advise against such a method... if that's the case have a hunting buddy on call or somethin' ;)

XXXXX: Wait... you wear heavy plate, use a shield, and don't steal? Why not just roll a Paladin?
Me: Because I don't think my sudden urges to flip out and kill stuff fit the Paladin mentality very well.
