Multi I am having serious problems with.
It baffles me that 2 trekkies can tick me to a bloody mess after a while and I don't get off learning in multi. But, 3 caracals will eventually lock me in multi without much trouble and they don't have a prayer of hitting me.
Further along that line I had one trekkie and 2 hunters. Both hunters using the sling. I didn't get off learning in multi in that situation. I even had both hunters at melee. It taught alot of shield but absolutely nothing in multi. This was further evidenced by a messed up mind state that does not happen as long as you are learning multi during the attacks.
Can the missle weapon attack aspect at least have multi learning added to it please?

I believe the problem is that enemies give a smaller MO penalty when at missile range (and so enemies at missile range teach MO poorer). You'd need about 5 trekkies on you at missile to teach as well as 3 trekkies at melee. Now I really don't want this to change, otherwise you'd die the moment a third enemy entered the room and began advancing you. As it currently stands, you have about 10 seconds to kill one of the two you are facing, before the third one gets to melee and oblitterates you.

Ahh, I see I missed that remark.
I've never learned MO well off 2 of anything, except perhaps gryphons. It almost always takes 3+ at melee to get MO past thoughtful. 2 enemies at Melee and 1 enemey at missile is NOT going to teach multi opponent well either. All 3 need to be at melee. Out of curiosity, did you try BLOCK STOP with the 2 trekkies on you? That stands to possibly teach you a bit better than 2 up front. If you can find a way to get both behind you that'd teach even better.
I'd really be suprised if missile attacks didn't teach MO skill. I know that the engagement is what creates the penalty irregardless of the weapon used (ie, 60th circle WM was getting mauled when over 70 kobold slingers decided to shoot at him...).
Anyhow, good luck with things!

Yea, I do the block stop thing, but, that's a wee bit dangerous with trekkies for me still. Again, I am getting ticked to death by 2 trekkies, not much multi, 3 caracals don't have a prayer, they teach me multi. That's a problem, that's counter risk reward.
the scenario I stated earlier. 1 trekkie facing him, 2 hunters flanking and back. All three at melee. totally hosed my mind state. Hence, not teaching multi. period.
Which is bad and bad. Any idea just how hard it is to get three of those in one room? try 1 occurances about every 4 hours of hunting out there solo. Which is why, I thought 2 was going to teach better multi last I read months ago. Adding the horrid gens to negatory on rewarding risk with multi learning and it's getting annoying. Kinda part of why I stopped playing for about 4 months.
Heck, let alone trying to find enough critters to learn target on.
Shame of it is, trekkies fill the niche needed between bristles and celps, yet ya really can't find'em to fight.
And who the heck knows about mihminn? I understand they flex now eh? And they are in that god's foresaken desert from beyond the void. Sure would be nice to have something evil/undead on M'riss or Hara. shrugs.

Yeah it sounds like Trekkies are just poor teachers of MO skill. Kind of like how gryphons are awesome teachers, but Adan'f are not. Hopefully with the upcoming MO changes your situation will improve some.
