Backtraining a bit. Lookin for a combo for both hands blunt. LB and MB, gonna be switching hand when the main weapon is locked. Not sure if that's necessary to know....
Also here: GameMaster Tiesse who is awesome.
Take a look at the combat flow charts at www.olwydd.org: I managed to cobble together a nice combo that uses ME and MB equally.

If you are wielding both at the same time, I've found it effective to just use my usual blunt combo and make sure half the blows have a "left" after them. If you are just wailing away with first one, then the other in your left hand, use your usual blunt combo and add left after each attack. (sweep left, draw left, slice left, parry, chop left would be mine.)
Are you backtraining the blunts, the offhand or both?

Indeed, when you attack, all it cares about is what your previous attack is, not what side you used.
The only problem is that things like Dodge are always considered to be right-side attacks, which can cause... issues.
