Currently I'm useing this halberd
A halberd is a halberd pole-ranged weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
heavy puncture damage
heavy slice damage
poor impact damage

I'm wondering if there is any chance of getting one that has low or fair impact and what the weight would be on it?

Thanks,
Kleis

Unfortunately halbers start out with low impact and after grinding for slice and puncture, poor is the most impact you can get.

You can lead a mage to mana, but you cant make 'em think.

That sure seems backward for a twohanded weapon. You'd think with something as big as a halberd that impact would be more of an issue.

Yeah, just look at the lochaber axe. Severe impact, but only great slice.

The only thing to fear is fear itself--nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.

Is the lochaber axe a halbred? How much does it weigh and where can I get one.

Thanks for the reply Rayje. I was hopeing for some better news but guess not. With any luck maybe they'll change the set up some whenever forgeing is redone. Are they still going to change it?

Thanks,

Well, one day forging 2.0 will be here, but changes will all depend on what templates they give us to work with.

The damage that a standard halberd does is based more off of it's graceful ripping and tearing. Attacks are generally short slashes or stabs, and it's only as big as it is to provide extra reach. The lochaber axe, however, has a massive blade that's well suited to a different fighting style--basically you swing it in wide arcs as hard as you can in order to knock over/dismount your enemies.

But yeah, multiple templates for halberds would be nice.
