That would be a negative. I just bought the dueling iltesh out of the Muspar'i Trader shop last week to verify the comparison by Lurel.
Maybe the one YOU have is old. If you notice, the value of yours is 37884 dokoras, the value of mine is 10824 dokoras.
I'm thinking yours is not from the trader shop but maybe the original merchant varity?

>It should be from the trader shop since I bought it from a trader that bought it from the trader shop...but why would the trader shop version be better puncture wise now?
Well, I got curious, so I pulled up my old weapon guide that Indigoe had put together, and the appraisal value he has listed is 42000 Lirum which equates to 37884 Dokoras (Flicking a number of beads up and down the wires of your ironwood abacus, you figure 42000 Lirums is equivalent to 52500 Kronars or 37884 Dokoras.), the same as yours.
His weapon guide is a few years old and it was probably the iltesh that was being sold in the shop in Crossing, which is originally where it was sold. Either that, or he had appraised a merchant version himself. Doubtful, since he was/is a Trader himself.
So I can theorize that when it started being sold in Muspar'i, it changed, for some reason. I don't know why it would either. You'd have to ask a GM for that answer.
I have no stake in it being so or not, as I'm not promoting the weapon, merely curious. I'd be interested in comparing the 10824 dokoras one with the 37884 Dokoras though.
