Anyone able to create a Medium Edge weapon that has excellent or greater balance, by special metal or otherwise, or that knows of a weapon that has this other than a mirror blade?

Non special metal? If it can be re-produced easily I don't care about its construction really, though I was more hoping to find a main weapon that I could become attached to that I wouldn't have to fear about breaking. How much do those rapiers go for though?
