The ngalio used to be an excellent weapon, but now, dont bother. The present pike combo does not allow deviation from the masterful stereotype designed by Veyl of the twenty foot long pike and they can only be used in a 'european' fashion. For example, katanas may exist in game, but they are still required to use the same european combo as any other longsword, broadsword, or battle axe.

<How does the ngalio app?>

Don't remember the appraisal on the ngalio, might want to check out Indigoe's (sp?) weapons compliation table. I DO remember that is was a slicing weapon, but I just used the standard jab-thrust pike combination from back in the day. With the advent of arm worn shields, you're probably better off with a silver-tipped spear from SCC or gold-tassled from Theren.

Interesting thing with the ngalio...one handed pike, so I used to be able to use a shield with it and I think might have a verb.

Hope that helps,

Sorry. C/P'd from indigoe's guide in excel, and it pasted spaces before I hit post. (And I'm too lazy to go back and delete).

A tarnished bronze ngalio is a heavy thrown and pike melee-ranged weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
fair puncture damage
moderate slice damage
low impact damage

You are certain that the ngalio is fairly balanced and is fairly suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You are certain that the bronze ngalio is of average strength, and is in pristine condition.

The bronze ngalio is made with metal.
The bronze ngalio feels light.
You are certain that the bronze ngalio is worth exactly 12100 lirums.
Roundtime: 16 seconds.

Appraisal doesnt matter. You would still be better off using a jar of peanut butter instead of a ngalio to train pikes, but use a shield because you still cant parry with a jar of peanut butter.
