Hey everyone, I've just taken up some pike and under the recent weapon update, I've been trying to find a pike that falls in the 50 to mid 60s weight in hopes of finding something that deals more damage than the short hunting spear. I've only checked the crossing pike and it's something like 80 stones now.
Anyone know for sure where I can find a 60 stone range pike?
Thanks for the help!

The best pike between 50-64 stones is the oxtongue spear sold at the last Shard festival. It weighs 55 stones is heavy/low/low fairly fairly, moderately strong, hits from pole and swaps into a quarterstaff weapon.

An ox-tongue spear with a stout iron-studded haft is a pike pole-ranged weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
heavy puncture damage
low slice damage
low impact damage
You are certain that the spear is fairly balanced and is fairly suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You estimate that the ox-tongue spear is well constructed, and is in pristine condition.
The ox-tongue spear is made with metal.
You are certain that the ox-tongue spear weighs exactly 55 stones.

Oh I forgot all about the ones sold at that fest. Yes that is a damn nice spear. Anyone know if the common oxtongue spear in Haven is still a halberd?
Thanks,
Kleis

Not quite as rare, but still festival itemss are the spears from Edwords all 40 stones. They are the same as a golden tasseled-spear from Theren but have a little better construction.
a balanced boar spear chiseled with rampaging centaurs
a fire-gilded spear tethered with a dark blue pennon
a lion-engraved spear with a polished ebony shaft.

In my humble opinion, those boar spears, and the boar spears from Edword's in Theren Festival, rocketh hardcore.

Toldorf this is the one from Crossing:
appraise pike careful
A pike is a pike pole-ranged weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
great puncture damage
low slice damage
low impact damage
You are certain that the pike is fairly balanced and is fairly suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the pike is somewhat flimsy, and is in pristine condition.
The pike is made with metal.
You wonder if the pike might weigh several tens of stones.
You are certain that the pike is worth exactly 312 kronars.
Roundtime: 16 seconds.
>put pike on counter
You put your pike on the counter.
Naissura hefts the pike and puts it on the medium balance scale. She patiently adds small sacks of stones on the other side till the beam becomes exactly level.
Naissura squints at the balance beam needle and says, "The pike weighs about eighty stones," and puts the pike on the counter.
You pay Naissura and take your pike off the counter.
These changes really make me wish I trained pike instead of halberd as my primary. I'd love to be able to use the lance(with a puncture combo) and my large sized shields.
Thanks,
Kleis

Hey Thanks for the info guys,
I picked up that slender gold-tipped lance at SCC and am very happy with it!
A slender gold-tipped lance is a heavy thrown and pike melee-ranged weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
heavy puncture damage
no slice damage
fair impact damage
You are certain that the lance is poorly balanced and is fairly suited to
gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the gold-tipped lance is of average strength, and is in
pristine condition.
The gold-tipped lance is made with metal.
The gold-tipped lance feels light.
You are certain that the gold-tipped lance is worth exactly 625 kronars.
Naissura squints at the balance beam needle and says, "The lance weighs about
fifty stones," and puts the lance on the counter.
I like the added impact damage to the puncture as well as suited for power. As a Halberd, I chose the Khuj for the same reason. I love my pike and halberd!
