Some QS (bo sticks) are one-handed.
Most QS are pole-ranged.

Also QS can be found almost anywhere. Just forage a branch and carve a cane.

QS makes you look like an Asian karate master.

2HB only does if you're using the threefold staff, in which case you're clearly a kung fu master.

What we really need is a SS/MB weapon that extends into nunchaku.

Umm.. maybe Aikido or Shaolin Kung Fu. Karate literaly means empty handed, at least the Kanji means that.
