Just looking for the appraisal.
i can't quite get the weight on the appraisal but if I recall it weighed out at 40 stones.
A long gaff hook is a quarter staff type weapon.

moderate puncture damage
poor slice damage
moderate impact damage

I hope that the upcoming fest has something along the pike staff model. Maybe with a little better damage. Fairly/fairly , the Partisan is a great weapon but is poorly/fairly.

You can use draw-slice-chop, if you wish. Not the most balance-positive string, but has the substantial advantages of hitting all the major strokes and being the string I already use for my edges.
