I have a question about mixing armors. Now I know that for each different type of armor you wear, your hindrance goes up because you're mixing. I also have heard in many places that there is less of a mixing penalty if you stay within the same class, ie HC/LC or HP/LP. So my question is, what if I'm wearing HC/LC AND HP/LP. I just switched my head gear from a leather mask to a barrel helm from Haven - LP, which was previously untrained. Will the penalty for LC/HC/LP/HP be SMALLER than the penalty for LC/HC/leather/HP? Thanks

If I knew the way I would take you home

Yes as I understand it. Or more actuarately, I know there were planning on making it this way when they released bone and cloth armors... I guess off the top of my head, I don't remember reading a post saying they actually did it. Anyway, I think this is the way its supposed to work. :D
There are 4 'types' of armor:

cloth/leather
LC/HC
bone
LP/HP

Your penalty is based on how many of these categories you have. Armors from the SAME category (cloth and leather or LC/HC) don't give any stacking penalty.
