Can we please, please, PLEASE get these able to be forged? The state-of-affairs using the store bought versions is absolutely miserable. The change to throwing roundtimes to be 1/2 seconds has throwing a stack of these averaging 8-9 second roundtimes. 8-9 seconds doing 0-1 damage per blade is absurdly underpowered. 9 seconds and getting 5 0's is far too common and depressing. Throwing blades need some serious GM love.

I would like to see something happen with them too. Being added into crafting (multiple throwing blade templates) as well as updating the store bought ones.
I have liked the idea of throwing blades for a long time. The only reason I don't use them is that I can't find a single use for them where they are actually worth the effort.

I like throwing blades so much that I have a stockpile of about 50 stacks of various kinds of blades on a F2P mule that I got back when thrown weapons were easily lost. Now that the at-feet slot exists, that number of stacks is no longer necessary obviously, but even so I still don't use any of them because as others say they are essentially useless right now.
They were originally implemented to give LT some differentiation from and reason to be used instead of HT, and when they were originally released this actually functioned well. HT was still the more damaging option, but the multi-strike of LT was damaging enough to be useful in any situation and even outperformed HT in some situations like boss mechanics or high level NPC fights. Since the new crafting and combat systems, however, HT far outperforms LT to the point that even with a multi-strike on boss mechancis the HT performs better.
A crafted stacked LT weapon would resurrect LT from it's current always inferior to HT state.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure it's on Kodius' plate, so the lack of a crafted version isn't by design. It just hasn't been gotten around to yet.

This. They would have been way overpowered in 2.0 combat when weaponsmithing was released so they were not included then. He just hasn't gotten back around to doing crafting QoL stuff since then.

I don't remember if each blow counts as a separate one for barriers.
I know one of the times this got brought up recently Kodius brainstormed some potential ideas for stackable templates, including ones that had a chance of breaking on use but had better stats as trade-off. I just really want to see -something-.
Hell, add elemental damage LTs/stackables to shaping ala elemental arrows... that would be amazing.

Charovras. They come from BTB as an incidental.
