How much skills (generally) does it take to find and remove blood worms?
My character has 91 skinning, 102 FA, 84 Perc.
He also has 19 Stamina and is an Elf.

I have been using worms to train FA, and skinning for about 20 ranks, both 100ish now, I can say I have failed a few tends first shot, but it never created a huge problem for me. Stamin in 30's + courage (Ima paladin), and much more agility/reflex than I think most would have when they started in crocs. I think thats where the difference is, in reviewing the posts between the folks that do well with bloodworms, and the folks that don't.
And the most important part, if you wait for them to be engorged, they are very easy. The only thing bloodworms has changed abouty hunting crocs, is that you can no longer run from room to room, unless you can tend them easy, which is why I think the gen rate of crocs should be adjusted upwards. That will create balance between the folks that like the worms as they are, and the folks that want to hunt crocs.

Catn remember if i posted this or not,but once someone said if you tend with a knife it helps....and it does...aggrivates the wound but if ya carry herbs like most smart hunters do youll be just fine.
In the water i can remove them without the knife on the first try 72 FA ,105 Skin, 42 AL
On the road outside of the reeds they seem harder to remove and i have to use the knife to do it,but it can be done even with my skills and i really really think that the animal lore has alot to do with that. Esp after hearing all these complaints about them and I'm like "wow,i didnt think they were that bad"

Bloodworms are mind boggingly frickin disgusting. It matters not whether I can remove them or what they teach. I have absolutely no interest in having large slimey nasty worms munching on my insides. Luckily I no longer hunt in crocs and care little if they remain there. In the future any area that becomes infested with them will also become a no fly zone for me. End of story.
