Anyone know the actual caps for the Brocket Deer?

Young Brocket Deer capped at 190 for me, not what Elanthipedia said.

Red Brocket Deer?

Elder Brocket Deer?

Thanks, if you have the low caps and the high caps Ill update the pedia.

Keep in mind, caps in TF are different than caps in prime. What I mean is this: It's easy while AFK scripting in TF to stay in a hunting area until Shield, Armor, Multi goes completely clear and whatever that number is... that's the cap.

In prime, people change hunting areas when the skills they are working on go below 10/34 or some other arbitrary number. Currently, I have a character in prime who is training weapons in blood wolves. I can keep 2 of the 5 weapons I want trained moving at 8 to 10/34 and 90 ranks. I'm going to take them to 100 because I know I can. I can even take them to 120 in blood wolves if I really want to milk them. That's not going to happen.

Most people in prime will never see 190+ in defenses while in 1st tier deer. They will move on long before they get there. Currently I have a character in 2nd tier deer, and while Evasion is still dabbling at 223 ranks, I'm sticking around because my other armor and defenses is still locking at 210. I've tried 3rd tier and I can get along just fine there, which most people in prime will do. They'll move up as soon as they can hunt without too much difficulty.

That's what I mean when I say the caps in TF and prime are different.

the regular deer don't seem to teach weapon beyond 210 or so, or at least thats the case for my barbarian. other skills they seem to train higher, as my wm's tm is beyond that and still seems to learn, slowly, in there.

ahh ok, that is probably why I was seeing the difference... its true I certainly move my prime barbarian around way more than the way I use my fallen barb... thanks for pointing this out I should have thought of it.

In addition to the previous explanation, your stats will affect this a bit too, especially the low side. It's more useful anyway as a practical range guide than a literal mechanical range (which isn't even the same for every skill).
