I used to get four apes all the time, but for the last few months I've been unable to get more then three. Anyone else experienced this? Using hunt or peer I can see other apes in the rooms all around me, but a fourth never comes in any more. I need four to train MO.
Four wraiths barely got MO to dabbling.
Would be nice if we could use bait to attract critters.

Mangy skin covers the Prydaen zombie, tightly stretched over bone and rotting sinew. Despite the fact that its features are badly distended and bloated, the feline nature of its former race is evident. A stench of decay rises from the zombie, and flies swarm about every oozing orifice.
You are certain that the Prydaen zombie is healthy.

Much agree. High level hunting areas modeled after Lyras's undead would absolutely reassure us all out here that we're still loved and appreciated.

I'd be hesitant to recommend apes without at least 500ish. When you say you are avoiding celps, are you reluctant to go to Mer'kresh? Don't forget baby celps on Ratha are not that far away. Once you're on the boat it's only a 17ish minute ride. Ride over, have a nice hour hunt, ride back, do other stuff on the mainland. Repeat at your leisure.
My critter ladder went:

forest geni
bristleback pecs
orc raiders/warklins
baby celps
apes/wraiths
As long as one doesn't get in a hurry that is a very sturdy ladder.
