So, young gryphons are starting to slow down and I'm wondering if its time to move on or not.
Relavent skills being:
Thief
Shield and Parry 340
Evasion 470
Leather/LC 350
ME 410
LT 340
SB 300
Skinning 300
Backstab 400
Hiding 500
Lockpick 365
Agi/Ref 50
My current training routine has been to hunt gryphons until weapons and defenses are locked, then run over to raiders to collect boxes to train lockpicking. Like I said the defenses are starting to slow down and I'm thinking it's almost time to move. Any suggestions?
I wouldn't suggest moving on until you have some of those skills caught up to at -least- 400 (I think I milked gryphons until around 450 in everything). No reason to rush out of an area just because evasion is capping, lower your stance a bit and stay a while.

Yes, they will stop spawning for you.. I Believe its circle 115.. As long as someone under that is in the area that will spawn normally.. If the circle player leaves then so do the celps.. Even if they are already engaged..
Not Sure about skill though.. I still learn quite well from them, but they still disappear on me.. Maybe its just guild prejudice.. :P

This used to be the case, but I believe it's been fixed. However, Ratha celps only spawn 3 per hunter, not the insane rates you would get on Mer'Kresh.

The malchata was carrying 7 copper coins, 7 bronze coins, and 7 silver coins!
This used to be the case, but I believe it's been fixed. However, Ratha celps only spawn 3 per hunter, not the insane rates you would get on Mer'Kresh.

A friend of mine assisted about this back in October. He had just circled to 116 and was told by GM Tiesse that the celps on Ratha were set up to only spawn for people within 40 levels of the creature level and that circling to 116 had pushed him over. He had the same experience of bringing in a lower level character and spawn starting right away.
Short answer, as of October it was capped and was believed to be intentional.

A little bit of a thread rezz, but you (or anyone reading threads for advice in this range) should consider Germish. You won't be there for long but they'll help you bridge into south barricade celpeze.
