Has anyone done any testing yet to see if certain mobs have a higher chance of dropping items from the treasure pool? I know some mobs don't drop treasure items, some do, some have alternate gem pools, etc. Has this data been compiled anywhere?

Assuming nothing changed in 3.0, some mobs have a higher chance of spawning items from the treasure pool than others (i.e. gryphons drop more treasure items than goblins).
I do not believe any creature has a higher drop rate of specific items from the treasure system, like scrolls or runestones.

Right. I was curious which ones were which, though, for the higher % chance.
What's the difference between Rock Trolls and say, Adan'f warriors, or Granite Gargoyles?
Which creatures have a higher % chance to drop from the Treasure Pool? Which ones have a middling % chance to drop said items?
Does Treasure pool drop-quality scale by creature difficulty (such as higher value/rarity items from harder critters)?
Does Loot Treasure increase the chance of treasure dropping at all, by excluding other types of loot?

Rock trolls seem to have "standard" drop rates, adan'f elevated. I haven't ever hunted gargoyles enough to speak to them.

Gryphons, adan'f, and all the varieties of orc up in Theren are the creatures I have previously hunted that seem to have high drop rates.

No. You don't get "better" spell scroll from adult gryphons versus baby gryphons, for example, it's completely randomized. It doesn't scale like gems, coins, and skins do.
>>Does Loot Treasure increase the chance of treasure dropping at all, by excluding other types of loot?
I do not believe so. It only exists if you're farming goblins for boxes and have no interest in seeing a thousand copper kronars laying on the ground.
