ReplyOuch, when did these guys learn the geyser spell? Yesterday they didn't cast it at all, today they are chain casting it.

A spout of steamy water erupts from the ground, sending bits of dirt through the air. The blast of superheated water and steam suddenly diverts in midair, charging toward you!
Your target shield is pushed away by the blast as the torrent of steam slams into you!
With a ferocious hiss, the gout of superheated steam billows past your neck, spattering the skin along your collarbone with droplets of scalding water.

This was in the span of like 30 seconds it took to get out of stun and retreat away. No likey.
Yeah, it could be a boss creature, but I dont think they were released, and there is no indication of them being a higher tier which I thought would be the case if they had(ie, elite sprite, veteran sprite, whatever). After I left and healed, I came back, and did about an hour long hunt, and one more spawned that could cast the spell, but by and large most don't. The ones that do, however, hurt.
Actually, I've been hunting there ever since making it out of thugs. I've noticed them slightly changing behavior any time there is Rising Mists active.
Once that fog is in the air, they hide more frequently and starting casting geyser with some pretty deadly accuracy. I doubt you crossed paths with a "boss" type critter.
If it helps, think of it as crossing that one Water Sprite who spent more time on Elemental Magic and less time with Small Edges.
