Just for fun... a Lipopod that assumes the characteristics (and form) of whomever is attacking it. i.e. DannyBoyle, a ranger, comes across one of these things. They engage in battle. After a few hits, the Lipopd begins to quiver and shake, then change. Suddenly DannyBoyle is staring at a slightly transparent version of himself, complete with weapon! I suppose it would drop gems and coins as well as the occasional (and rare) item or weapon. It's be great if the Lipopod could assimilate certain traits as well, such as the spellcasting abilities of a magic-wielding player.

Shapeshiting...those lipopods would have some very interesting bowel movements apparently. Thought it was a funny typo...had to say something, sorry :D
