Hello, I was with Plat for a while then dropped it. I signed up again tonight and was told I would be billed a pro-rate of $17.50 on top of the regular first months bill of $49.95. Since Plat is only an extra $10.00 a month over Premium where is this extra one time charge coming from? It's not documented anywhere and is kind of a rip off.

I can get by with missing the free month offer but, an extra charge for joining back up? Give me a break. I'd like to hear back from SIM on this one before I cancel again.

Sounds like the pro-rated fee is for the remainder of the month of July and the $49.95 is going to be for the month of August. That would be my guess.

I thought anyone who had ever played plat was immune to free trial (wether they did a previous free trial, or actually payed for plat).

yeah, you just can't play your previous plat characters. its fun rolling up a newbie though and trying out different things.
