Happy Friday!

This week, we pulled up an OOOOLD creature that was originally started by GM Hyram back around 2000, and then GM Xadrian picked them up and went wild around 2006 as P5 prep, and now they've been cleaned up for modern mechs so we can finally get them released. Visitors of the Seord Kerwaith beware -- much of the mountainside is infested with frost trolls!

These are roughly level 180 creatures (+/- 3) who love the Veil of Ice, Frostbite, Ice Patch and Devitalize spells. Additionally, rumors say they may have some innate shapeshifting ties or some other dark magics that could mimic such, but that has yet to be confirmed. They are known to shatter, and from the shards they may arise again! Some of the first to notice their arrival have advised against using frost magics on them -- they seem to heal from the cold! Keep a lookout for possibly even more shenanigans!

As a result of the trolls' arrival, the local frostweyr bear population has been pushed back and contained along the southwestern ledge and mountainside. The trolls are not typically swarming the Mountain Road, but some may occasionally stray that far. Primarily, they appear to be gathered near the dark stone pillars, further along the mountainside.
