Just a reminder, that if you need to book or make any changes to your room reservation at the Sheraton Plaza Westport (or the Chalet if you are booked there), PLEASE remember to call the hotel. The information on the website is NOT going to accurately reflect our Simucon group rates.

The hotel phone number is (314)878-1500 for the Sheraton Chalet and the Tower, so please be specific when you are calling so they can direct your call to the right hotel.

The hotel also wanted us clear up some confusion that we were getting regarding cancellation policies. The Sheraton cancellation policy is 4pm day of arrival. We're informed that the website has a room you can book that is a prepay non-cancel reservation. This rate type is usually $10 - $20 lower than reservations that have the 4pm cancellation. So, if you KNOW you're coming and you're OK with pre-paying for your entire stay up front, you can get your room even cheaper!

And finally, here's another very important thing to be aware of:

Please make sure you are registered (or will be registering at the door) for the convention if you booked your room using the Simucon block/discount code. The hotel has contacted us and said they've noticed some differences between the number of sign-ups we're expecting and the number of people they have registered under our group code. As hotels are generally not in the business of giving out random/free discounts, the hotel management has let us know that they will be checking with us, and if you are not pre-registered or confirmed as having registered at the door, you will be charged their normal room rate when you check out.
