PROFILE /TOGGLE ACCOUNT
This command would toggle the display of your Play.net account name in your profile. (The default would be off.)
Purpose: finding forum posts and identifying the authors of forum posts.

Wouldn't those be the same security problems that happen when anyone posts on the forums?

Definitely NOT interested in this, even if it is made opt-in only. I don't think it adds anything to the game that isn't already there. You can put a URL or an IM in your profile. I suppose if you wanted to, you could put your play.net account in your quote, so feel free.

Not sure why this would be wanted, but I'm also a person with account and character name the same.

No, because players can choose to post without signing their name.
Even if it's opt-in, I don't see this being an option. Plenty of other things I'd rather Turmis put into Profile besides this.
