Could a non-discussion topic be created in the empath folder where players could post a request for an empath? For example, there is a healing folder, but that's for discussion of the system. There is a shift folder, but that is also for discussion of the system. There is an empath thank you, but that's after the fact. It's not always possible to sift through all the discussion, and sometimes people requesting empaths for healing, shifting, role playing, advice, start up help, etc. Sometimes people have items or other offerings for empaths, too...either an empath offering to empaths or outsiders offering.

Maybe you could call it "Empath Classifieds".

In the description of the topic, can say it's not a discussion folder, to discuss in other categories (the way the thief folder has an ask the guru but respond in the den). Just a place to request help, item, support or service from or offer help, item, support or service to an empath.

It would help to have a place where this information is easily found because we empaths do tend to chatter on sometimes, way much, in the other topics...sometimes derailing or accidentally blurring or hiding the original request.

If someone does ask something that needs discussion on the boards, we could still discuss in the respective folders plus those other folders are still the places to come for discussion specifically.

I hope you like the idea! I think it would not only help keep things organized in the empath folder, it could encourage people to come over to the empath boards without getting lost in all the other folders, and maybe it would even liven up some inter-guild and intra-guild relations inside the game as people respond to requests : )
