Pyre has had it's difficulty somewhat reduced to bring it more in line with other cyclic esoteric spells.

Soul now requires Rage

Will now requires Breath of Storms

Echo now requires Wolves

Words now requires Eillie's Cry

Doesn't this mean a bard could grab Will without having one of the spells that benefits from the cold substitution? Then they'd have payed 3 slots for only 2 slots of benefit. Avoiding this situation is why all the various synergies were removed from the WM spellbook.

Maybe Will could be reduced to 2 slots and the cold substitution disabled by default. Then have a 1 slot metaspell that unlocks the cold substitution. The metaspell would have prereqs of: Will + at least 1 spell which benefits from the cold substitution (e.g. Pyre).

I do not think the spell does what you think it does anymore.

Given that I'm currently building the hooks into BoS to support it? No.

Okay, maybe you do.

In which case I'm not sure what to say -- performance boosting is about the most basic thing a Bard can do and it's the intro spell that gates almost the entire Sound Manipulation spellbook.

No death cry, just the performance boost.

The way the death cry works now is that if you cast Cry on another person and they die, you'll hear the cry.

Ah, I was misusing it. Off to test.

Curious though, are there plans for an Earth style Ritual spell? (I'm already fairly sure there won't be a Lighting ritual, but you may have hinted at the Lightning one being at the end of the Songsworn tree)

Ellie's Cry is a pretty great spell, actually. It boost performance. With it and a practice stretching up, time to lock performance is greatly reduced. Which means more time in combat.

So has the name been fixed in test? When I last looked it was called "Ellie's" instead of "Eillie's". Desert's Maelstrom was being called "Desert Maelstrom" as well.

Caress of the Sun had it's top end difficulty lowered quite a bit to bring it in line with an intro spell.

Caress of the Sun's abbreviation changed back to [CARE]

Pyre's damage type while under Will of Winter was remixed slightly.

Next up... DEMA. I have a feeling that one might be a little time consuming.

Was some definite weirdness going on with DEMA especially as it pertains to people STALKing you or being in your group and facing you, and also the same while you're facing them.
