Moon mage, Using Partial Displacement spell, platside, on piruati serpents <beyond the dam east of riverhaven>.

The majority of time I'm seeing this:
>cast
You gesture at a piruati serpent.
A crackling stream of energy flies at a piruati serpent!
The piruati serpent manages to get out of the way of the stream!
Roundtime: 1 sec.

preping at 20 mana, waiting for fully prep before casting.

Meanwhile, I'm hitting them with mundane weapons a lot more often - with less skill.


Relavant skills:

TM 137
Small Edged 114. <using relatively inexpensive ME from fest- a serrated scimitar with a bare metal grip>


snowbeasts no longer train me in TM. my armor/shield/parry aren't high enough to move up higher. Evasion is 134.

serpents are evading way too much.

I'm seeing a pretty similar issue with 288 in TM versus Forest Geni. I think TM accuracy might need looked at, at lower levels. One problem is that it seems balance and position have a large impact on attacking, but TM has no way of changing that. So it makes it difficult to use cambrinth, which is still semi-required, because you have to keep doing balance/position positive moves.

Maybe Tactics could gain a move or two that will charge/focus cambrinth in a balance+ or enemy defense- way, at the cost of extra roundtime.

You move in a dizzying pattern while you charge your cambrinth orb.
Roundtime: 10 seconds.


It'd be nifty if it contested the enemy's tactics, as they could recognize the pattern and actually gain a to-hit bonus if you fail the contest.

Just removed the physical combat mods from TM accuracy.

Thanks, Socharis. Though, I really hate to informa that you might have broke a couple of things in the process.

I noticed the Suw Bizars I'm fighting aren't really fighting back and there's some oddities with weapon experience. Like nothing from misses now.
