when training magic, should you alternate between spells instead of spam casting the same one over and over?
i've been having trouble moving everything except for debilitation, targeted, arcana, and astrology. Any suggestions?
Is there a way that we can get a message that states when we are recovered from being drained from performing a ritual spell (kind of like the messaging that empaths get when they have recovered from FOC).

Same spell seems to work fine, I have the most trouble with debilitation though.
I end up using a lot of camb to get it to work though since I have to cast at roughly 90 mana to get augmentation working. Utility can be done with cyclic spells(as a moon mage).
I haven't found any real benefit of using different spells, It may help but it doesn't seem like its enough at least for me.

Just use cambrinth for arcana. I don't even really proactively pay attention to it gaining in skill. I tend to dump 10 mana X times into my various cambrinth between prepping and being fully prepared for the spell.

I think this is about the only part of magic that is truly bothering me. Cambrinth is absolutely required at this point to train after a certain level of skill. I enjoy that there is a higher range to cast in but having to cast at 60+ mana drains everyone regardless of skill levels. My feeling is that mana usage should even out around the 20-30 range and then as long as your attunement skills stay on par it should never cost more of your attunement % casting at your personal level as it did when casting at 20-30 mana when that was your cap. A 100+ mage should be able to fire off 20-30 mana preps like they were nothing and be able to easily handle (depending on room mana) several casts at their personal cap. As it is now I can cast at 70ish+ mana but one maybe two casts without relying on cambrinth and Im totally spent on mana. This seems awkward to me... like my efficiency isnt improving or that my total amount of mana is static and never growing.

You might as well charge some cambrinth while waiting for a spell to be fully prepped if you're doing it for training purposes.

For every magic class I've dabbled with (Warmie, Moonie, Necro, Cleric), I've had extreme trouble moving at least one of the magics. Warmie and Necro can move TM and arcana with extreme ease by just putting up a cyclic TM spell (FR or USOL), my Necro can move Utility easily with RoC, etc. I feel like unless it's cyclical, it's hard to spam a spell to train at the higher ends.
