Below is the appraisal or a moonblade on the test server. Are there any plans or is it desirable for the moonblade to be changed so that we do some fire, cold, or electric damage?
A dull black moonblade is a medium edged melee-ranged weapon.
A dull black moonblade trains the small edged skill.
You are certain that it could do:
low (3/25) puncture damage
moderate (7/25) slice damage
no (0/25) impact damage
no fire damage
no cold damage
no electric damage
The black moonblade is not designed for improving the force of your attacks.
You are certain that the moonblade is well (9/13) balanced and is dismally (2/13) suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the black moonblade is of average construction (9/18), and is in pristine condition (98-100%).
The black moonblade is made with metal.
You are certain that the black moonblade weighs exactly 10 stones.
You are certain that the black moonblade is worth exactly 262 kronars.
Roundtime: 8 seconds.

If you pick up the appropriate weaponsmithing techniques, your moonblades will appraise better. Which tech for which shape is here:

Speaking of moonblades, do they still have the spell battery function? I don't see any nodes in mine, but to be fair I can't cast it as high as I could in 2.0

That will get spun off into its own metaspell, but probably won't make release. Getting Empower Moonblade and AO to function again is Not Trivial.

I'd like if moonblades could be tweaked to do cold (xibar) fire (yavash) or... uh... more slice (katamba...?)
It doesn't have to be much, but it'd be neat to feel like we have a little more control over the things. I love the idea of swinging a moonblade to train Small Edged, morphifying it into a staff and training blunts or staves or whatever, morphifying it again... the more utility and interaction with our magic the happier I am

Well this is already entirely possible with Shape Moonblade. I havent checked on the duration yet but hopefully it lasts longer than in current version (moonblade that is). I do though like the thought of them doin some elemental damage especially with how the cast messages look. My biggest thing with Moonblades is that I hope the spell battery part (Im assuming Empower Moonblade) is worth getting. I love moonblades... I think they are an awesome concept but I never have a reason to use the spell battery in them currently due to the no combat spells. I dont know if this is a limitation of the system or a conceptual limitation but if its a latter it doesnt make sense to me. Its a weapon... where else would I be that I would have one out except in combat? I think it would even be neat to have them function more similarly to how OM works for the Clerics. Fill it and then have it feed the spells so that we can run other stuff. Or so that it can auto cast it when we need it. Ive tried keeping multiple spells in my blades but it doesnt seem to... flow.. like I feel it should. Switching nodes, focusing the nodes, invoking the nodes, switching back.. etc etc. And I never really have it out other than in combat so that just feels weird to me to have it not be smoother.
