I was just curious if stealing was tweaked in any way. It might've been a fluke, but some chains from the jewelry shop in Hib that I've been stealing for I'd say the past 50 ranks of stealing, 624 currently and grandfathered to 662 in 3.0 I couldn't steal. I'll test again when the shop timer resets. It just seemed odd. The only time I ever miss in 2.0 is if I forgot khri's or am wearing armor which I had no armor on and khri's up.

Probably just dumb luck, you can roll a critical fail in the stealing system. Thievery stuff wasn't tweaked at all, it just changed the name behind the skill.

Speaking of, at this point of testing, do you want any feedback about how skills are training?

I know many things haven't changed (specifically Thievery) but I think a once-over of the experience gain could be useful given all the changes happening.

For now, I'd rather focus on bugs where a skill is totally untrainable or training way too fast - Tweaking the rates more granularly should happen after we've taken care of the bulk of the rest of the bugs.
