I cannot find any information on this and I can't find a better place to ask than here. Is it permissible/possible to login with two different character on the same account at the same time? What about two different accounts from the same computer at the same time?

Not possible, even across servers and games.

This is possible and allowed, however, just be aware that you are still subject to afk policy on all of the accounts. So just paying attention to one account won't protect you from a script check on another.

It's been a long while since I've done that personally, since I've used Genie for many years so I'm not sure of any technical considerations. It might require having two installs in separate locations like Genie does, but I can't recall off the top of my head. Sorry I couldn't be more help there.

Nope. Works just fine. No need for separate installs or anything of the nature. The SGE even allows for multiple saved account names and passwords.

When I used to do it I ended up with a bunch of wonkiness when trying to manage different highlights and settings for each account, despite attempting to use classes and profiles. Also, with multiple installs I can keep them all pinned to my taskbar for ease of opening, which doesn't work with just a single install. I think there was another reason too, but I can't think of it atm. Might be something to do with me having it installed on dropbox for use with multiple computers...
