I have a little character I've been playing alot lately. Survival tert so i neglect it pretty bad. But trying to climb the stairs to get to bobcats in fang cave and it fails. 21 ranks isnt enough for stairs? That just seems a little silly.

Can this be changed please? Why should a staircase be so hard to climb. Unlike a cliff or tall tree, It's made for ascending and descending

IIRC the stairs aren't actual stairs, they're slabs on stone piled up and are even unfinished. Even though they're hared than actual stairs, they're not terribly hard. I could climb them rarely with a heavy rope at 40 ranks and with 50 it was no problem.

You begin to carefully study the rough stairway.
You are certain that you could make this climb with both arms tied behind your back.
Roundtime: 8 seconds.

You make your way up the stairway. Partway up, you make the mistake of looking down. Struck by vertigo, you cling to the stairway for a few moments, then slowly climb back down.

Just doesn't make sense to me. Oh well.

No idea why you've never had trouble with with crudely made, exceptionally steep stairs.
