This is her home, but she also works of it with her midwifing practice. Hence - the cot.
Just as a note..I'm leaving out the weapon rack because, well..I don't want it there, and..I really wish at very least I could tap it to have it not show.
[Gwenalion Shore, Deep Gulch]
The lakeside path narrows to a crooked trail as it picks its way gingerly around the rocky cove, further passage westward blocked by a precarious stony outcrop. Low-lying crabgrass and clementines punctuate the path as it leads past some moss-grown cottages and turns back into the woods lining the lake. To the southwest, the unclaimed wilds of the shoreline disappear around a sharp, unassailable promontory. You also see an abandoned hickory log cabin, an abandoned grey fieldstone cottage, an abandoned grey fieldstone cottage, and a cozy stacked stone home with a silver and crystal windchime hanging over its door.
Obvious paths: north, south.
(Really lovely woods to the north)
A rich-hued fine lambswool carpet adorns the polished flamewood floor of this small room. An oak-mantled brick hearth, an aged wooden medicine chest hanging above it, rests between a simple pine cot and an ornately carved canopy bed pushed up against the polished flamewood walls. The room holds a lingering scent of baking bread. You also see a diamond-paned frosted glass window, an oak hope-chest with delicate carved scrollwork with a battered brown keg painted with a battle scene at sea on it, a sapphire-blue plush velvet armchair and a sapphire-blue plush velvet armchair.
The doors to this medicine chest have been painstakingly carved with images of herbs commonly used in healing. A brushed golden latch secures the twin doors of this chest together.
>look on bed
On the carved canopy bed you see a wood violet dream pillow and a patchwork blanket.
On the pine cot you see a flame rose dream pillow and a light blue blanket with dark blue patches.
In the oak hope-chest you see a beryl blue chenille cloak and a stack of scholar's handbooks.
The way I imagine things.. wooden beams all across the ceiling, and at one point there is a loft that goes across about half of the room.
Tankards, copper pots and pans, and drying herbs are hanging from the beams.
She has an iron baking oven installed over the hearth, and the hearth is really big..and has hooks for hanging cauldrons and kettles.
Well,..yeah.
