[Tower South, Aether Floor]
Carpeting the color of a death shroud covers the floor, devouring the light as hungrily as Aldauth consumes souls. The walls are devoid of decoration, instead painted a uniform black to match the floor. Only the doors leading to initiates' cells betray any hint of color in this otherwise cold, bleak room. You also see a black oak door, a yew door with a huge dragon-shaped brass handle, an abandoned teak door, and an arched oak door.
Obvious exits: down.

[Arduin's Home]
A black obsidian floor spreads across this small room into surrounding screens of translucent ricepaper. An elaborately carved marble fireplace stands guard over the rich black cashmere sofa and low table that rest upon a deep scarlet rug with a black fringe and an intricate asymmetrical design of interlocking triangles covering the floor. A lingering scent of samatak fills the air. You also see a black oak door, a lined leather trunk with a stack of magic handbooks on it, a rich black cashmere armchair that is facing the table, a rich black cashmere armchair that is facing the table and a silky black short-haired cat.
